The Board of Directors has over the years passed regulations which pertain to all members and theirguests when using the Club's facilities. The date to the left of the rule is the Board of Directors meetingdate when the regulation was adopted.

2024 - 2025 DEER SEASON REGULATIONSAdopted by Board of Directors October 2024 (2024-2025) DEER SEASON ONLY ANTLERLESS DEER HARVESTA total of twenty-five (25) antlerless deer may be taken during the deer hunting season of 2024-2025 with the following stipulations:A total of seven (7) antlerless deer may be taken with archery equipment and twelve (12) antlerless deer may be taken by archery and muzzleloader combined prior to Saturday, November 23, 2024. Beginning with Saturday, November 23, 2024, a total of thirteen (13) antlerless deer will be allowed unless twelve (12) or fewer does are harvested prior to this date. If twelve (12) or fewer does are harvested prior to November 23, 2024, enough does will be harvested to come to a total of twenty-five (25). The remainder of the antlerless deer harvested on or after Saturday, November 23, 2024, may be taken through any open deer season ending on January 31, 2025.Only a shareholder or immediate family may harvest an antlerless deer. Two (2) antlerless deer may be harvested per shareholder (includes immediate family) during the 2024 2025 deer hunting season, subject to the restrictions found in Club 2024-2025 deer regulations. Immediate family is defined as spouse and children of the named shareholder and a grandchild of shareholder (15 and under) as long as the grandchild is accompanied by the shareholder. Any deer in which antlers do not break the hairline will be considered an antlerless deer for thepurpose of allowed harvest of antlerless deer per share; however, will not count against the total quota of 25.The minimum weight for any deer (Buck or Doe) will be 60 lbs. Any shareholder or immediate family member eligible to harvest an antlerless deer by Club rules who harvests an antlerless deer under 60 lbs. will be charged $50. A fine of $200 will be imposed if a second antlerless deer is harvested under 60 lbs. on the same share of stock. Updates of the number of antlerless deer harvested will be posted at the deer-processing shed and on the Club website harvest page as needed. It will be the shareholder’s responsibility to check this number prior to hunting each day. Guests are not allowed to take antlerless deer during any season. HARVEST OF ANTLERED DEER Hunters sixteen (16) years of age and older may harvest three (3) legal antlered deer on the property in accordance with the bylaws and regulations of the Association. (A legal buck is defined as having EITHER a minimum inside spread of 10 inches OR one main beam at least 13 inches long). Youth hunters fifteen (15) years of age and younger hunting on Association land can harvest only one (1) buck less than State Regulations of inside spread of ten (10) inches or one main beam at least thirteen (13) inches long for the 2024- 2025 deer hunting season. The number of antlered deer harvested per share of stock will be limited to three (3). For the purposes of this statement, per share of stock will be determined as shareholder, immediate family of said shareholder, and guest hunting with shareholder. RECORDING HARVEST All categories on the harvest sheet must be filled out including name, weight, sex, method, inside spread and beam length for bucks, and a yes/no for lactating does.Any shareholder or any person hunting on a share of stock that intentionally does not properly record the harvest of a deer is subject to suspension of ALL rights on Association property for a period of one (1) calendar year from the date of infraction and a fine of $200.00 (updated September 7, 2017). Deer harvests must be recorded at the skinning shed before leaving Association property. Deceased deer left in the woods or removed from the Association’s property without being weighed and accounted for will be considered a violation. *** Current year regulations imposed by the Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association, Inc. always supersede any pre-existing regulations set in the previous years.
JULY 2001 – DEER HUNTING SPECIAL RULES – (Revised September 2010) For all Deer Seasons (Regardless of weapon used)All deer taken must be 60 lbs. or greater live weight.All deer must be weighed in at the cleaning shed.No deer should be field dressed before being brought to the cleaning shed. SEPTEMBER 2009 – FINES All fines will follow the rules and procedures as stated in the Bylaws – under Miscellaneous -Section 7. First violation will be $50.00; second violation will be $200.00. A third violation willresult in the forfeiture of hunting privileges for one (1) year. Fines will be per license year. Asstated in the Bylaws under Miscellaneous – Section 6, shareholders are responsible for theactions of their guest(s). Any hunter violating these rules must appear at the next meeting of theBoard of Directors after the violation to pay their fine and explain their actions. MAY 1992 – HUNTING RESTRICTIONS – ALL GAME Effective September 1, 1992, for all hunting seasons:1. During hunting season, when a guest is present/hunting, the named stockholder, spouse orchildren of the stockholder must be present on the property;2. The named stockholder, spouse or children of the stockholder would have the privilege to be onClub property anytime by themselves; and3. Stockholders are entitled to one (1) member and two (2) guests.
AUGUST 18 AND 23, 2011 – SHAREHOLDER HUNTING STAND POLICY
The term “Hunting Stand” includes but is not limited to shooting houses, ladder tree stands,home-built tree stands, hang on tree stands, and climbing tree stands (collectively referred toherein as “Hunting Stand(s)”).In order to provide for member safety and to properly identify all Hunting Stand owners at theClub, effective immediately, all Hunting Stands must be registered by the member. Identificationwill consist of the Hunting Stand being numbered and an agreement signed indicating that theHunting Stand belongs to a member and is not property of the Nettleton Fox Hunting and FishingAssociation, Inc.No more than three (3) Hunting Stands will be permitted per share of stock at any one time withthe Hunting Stand ownership being restricted to the shareholders. Guests will not be allowed toown or register Hunting Stands at the Club but can use a member’s Hunting Stand that has beenregistered. Registration of a Hunting Stand is in a member’s name only.Before registration, any shareholder who owns a Hunting Stand will be required to sign legaldocumentation stating ownership, as well as accepting responsibility and liability for the HuntingStand including its safety, structural integrity, or any other condition regarding safety of theHunting Stand. Additionally, shareholders will be required to indemnify and hold harmlessNettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association, Inc. and its Board of Directors and officers fromany and all liability related to Hunting Stands on Club property.After October 1, 2011, any Hunting Stands that have not been registered and numbered with therequired agreement signed by the member will be scheduled for removal or torn down.The following penalties apply in the event of violations.1st violation Stand(s) taken down2nd violation Stand(s) taken down and a $50.00 fine3rd violation Stand(s) taken down and a $200.00 fine4th violation Stand(s) taken down and member prohibited from deer hunting the remainder ofthe season.Any hunter violating the hunting stand rules must appear at the next Board of Director’s meetingto pay their fine and explain their actions. As stated in the Bylaws, under Miscellaneous – Section6, shareholders are responsible for the actions of their guest(s).As with cabin ownership at the Club, cabin location does not preclude other members to fish infront of a member’s cabin. Hunting Stands will not limit any member from hunting around aHunting Stand.Identification tags and registration forms are available at the Club. The Club caretaker will be gladto assist you in completion of the registration form and tag identification. TREE STANDS AND DEER HUNTING The Association leases from various companies and individuals each year land for huntingpurposes. The signed leases have clauses in them prohibiting members and their guest(s) from“erecting permanent structures on the land or permanent deer stands nailed to any trees.” TheBoard of Directors must have the cooperation of its members to make sure this rule is notviolated. Driving nails into a tree can cause serious damage to the tree and result in injury to atree cutter in the future. Violation of this rule is cause for cancellation of lease. FEBRUARY 1998 – TURKEY HUNTING
Turkey hunting at the Club will be limited to shareholders and members of the immediateshareholders family. Immediate family is defined as spouse and children of the namedshareholder. APRIL 4, 2019 – FISHING LIMIT ON LAKE GREEN (amended October 6, 2020)Any member will be allowed a limit of five (5) catfish per day (per share/1 person) or 10 catfishper group, including guests and family, caught from Lake Green. SEPTEMBER 1988 – TREE CUTTING There will be no cutting of trees for firewood on the Club's property unless a tree has beenapproved for cutting by the Club's caretaker. Anyone cutting a tree without permission will befined $150.00 per tree. JUNE 7, 2011 – PIER CONSTRUCTION (amended November 10, 2020)A cabin owner who owns a cabin located on Lake Green, Thomas or Whitesides must securepermission from the Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association Board of Directors beforeerecting any structure commonly known as a “pier.” Piers for cabin owners may be constructedonly on Lake Green, Thomas, and Whitesides. Any “pier” constructed cannot exceed thirty (30)feet from the water’s edge and contain more than a total area of 320 square feet whenconstructed. If any “piers” or boathouses constructed exceed the limit for the total area whenconstructed, the cabin owner shall pay a fine to the Association of $5 per square foot in excess of320 square feet (not to exceed $1,000), or the Board may require the construction to bedestroyed. Any “piers” or boathouses constructed before the approval date of this policy, June 7,2011, will be considered ”grandfathered in” and may be repaired without permission of the Boardof Directors as long as no additional square footage area is added to the pier. In addition, anypier approved by the Board of Directors of the Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association andconstructed after the date of June 7, 2011, may be repaired without permission of the Board ofDirectors, as long as no additional square footage area is added to the pier. MAY 2010 – JUG FISHING Jug fishing will be allowed in the Club's lakes with the following stipulations:1. All jugs must be labeled with a shareholder's name and must be in the care or underthe control of the shareholder whose name is on the jug.2. There is a limit of five (5) jugs per shareholder with one hook per jug.3. Jugs should not be left unattended for over twenty four (24) hours in the Club's lakes.4. There is a limit of five (5) catfish per day per member.5. In the event a shareholder brings a guest or family member, no more than ten (10) catfish can betaken in one day by the group.6. Shareholders are limited to two (2) guests. OCTOBER 1995 – HORSEBACK RIDING (EQUINE ACTIVITY) An organized horseback ride (equine activity) sponsored by or given by a shareholder for his/herriding club, family and /or guests of more than ten (10) horses would have to be approved by theBoard of Directors forty-five (45) days in advance of the ride. The request would have to besubmitted in writing from the shareholder, and the shareholder or a member of the shareholder'shousehold would have to be present with the riders at all times. JULY 1992 – DUNE BUGGIES Dune buggies will not be permitted on Club property. JULY 1998, AUGUST 1998, MAY 1999 – PAVILION RESERVATION Rules for the use and reservation of the pavilion are as follows:1. The pavilion may be reserved only by a shareholder and not in the name of or by a shareholder’sguest.2. A refundable deposit of $1.00 per guest will be required to reserve the pavilion. The pavilion willnot be considered reserved until the proper deposit is in the hands of the caretaker. There will bea maximum of a $75.00 deposit per reservation.3. The deposit will be returned to the shareholder if the pavilion, including picnic tables and the floor,is cleaned, the grounds around the pavilion cleaned, and the garbage hauled off. Refunds ofdeposits will be made at the first Board of Director's meeting after the pavilion has been used.4. If the pavilion and the grounds around the pavilion are not cleaned and the Club's caretaker hasto clean up after the party, the Board of Directors will use its discretion in retaining all or a part ofthe deposit for the Club.5. Any member may use the pavilion for small gatherings without reserving it subject to anothershareholder having the pavilion reserved who would have priority. Small gatherings are subject tothe same rules regarding clean up.6. As stated in the Bylaws, any damage to the building, furnishings or property of the Associationwill be the responsibility of the shareholder.7. The named shareholder, spouse or children of the shareholder must be present while the pavilionis being used. JULY 2000 – USE OF ASSOCIATION’S EQUIPMENT Only the caretaker or an authorized representative of the Association is permitted to use oroperate the Association’s tractor and other equipment. SEPTEMBER 1998 – SHOOTING RANGE Because of the danger of accidents, the Board of Directorsadopted a number of safety rules which must be followed at all times when using the shooting range.1. All members must check in with the Association's caretaker before using the range.2. No one under the age of sixteen (16) may use the range unless accompanied by an adultmember.3. Always keep your gun pointed down range whether it is loaded or not.4. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.5. Always keep your gun unloaded until ready to fire.6. Always observe the area of fire and never shoot if there is any chance someone might be in yourrange of fire.7. Alcohol or drugs are strictly forbidden before or during any shooting on this range.8. Shooting will be permitted only during the daily hours of operation beginning thirty (30) minutesafter sunrise and ending thirty (30) minutes before sunset.9. As stated in the Bylaws, members are responsible to the Association at all times for the actions oftheir guest(s) and assume liability to the Association for any damages, injuries, actions or causesof action arising out of or resulting from the use of the Association's facilities. The Association'scaretaker is authorized and empowered to revoke the permission of any non-member to use theAssociation's facilities. SHOOTING RANGE – (ORIGINALLY ADOPTED JULY 28, 2015 – updated annually) The shooting range will be closed from 3:00 p.m. each afternoon until 9:00 a.m. the next morningbeginning October 1, 2022, and ending January 31, 2023. MAY 1999 – FISHING REGULATIONS 1. Guest(s), while fishing, must be accompanied by the named stockholder, spouse, or children ofthe stockholder.2. The named stockholder, spouse, or children of the stockholder would have the privilege to be onthe Association’s property anytime by themselves. JULY 28, 2015 – RENTING THE CLUBHOUSE – Effective November 1, 2015 1. Only members and members of the immediate family are allowed to rent the clubhouse and themember, or the immediate family, must be on Club premises during the rental;2. Clubhouse reservations must be cancelled within seven (7) days of the rental, or the member willbe responsible for the rental; and3. Members must pay for the nights reserved and not the nights actually used. For example, if theclubhouse is reserved for two (2) nights and the member only shows up for one (1) night, themember is responsible for paying for both nights.
DECEMBER 2005 – PARTIES AND GUEST(S) A shareholder is allowed to rent the clubhouse or have parties at the club in the pavilion oroutside the pavilion with multiple guests present. But the rules of the Association allow theshareholder member to have only two guests to hunt or to fish at any one time with theshareholder or immediate family member present.Example – A member rents the clubhouse or uses the pavilion for a church party, a child’s sportsteam, or company party. Even though there may be ten, twenty, or thirty guest present, only twoguests are allowed to hunt, fish, or ride all-terrain vehicles (ATV’s) at a time and the member orimmediate family member must be on Association property with the guest. FEBRUARY 7, 1984 – CABIN OWNERSHIP REQUIREMENTS(amended February 3, 2009; amended September 3, 2013) These rules were adopted in some cases by the Board of Directors (not the shareholders) prior tothe shareholders approving an amendment to the Bylaws prohibiting further cabin construction atthe Club.Shareholders should notify the Board of Directors in writing before their cabin is sold as to thenew owner's name and the date of the sale. (September 3, 2013)All structures constructed by shareholders on Club property shall be of wood, masonry, Masonite,aluminum/vinyl siding, concrete blocks or other equivalent materials as approved by the Board ofDirectors.Mobile homes and trailers will not be allowed on the Club’s property.All structures must have septic tanks that have been approved by the State Board of Health.Plumbing should be constructed so as to provide adequate discharge of septic waste. No septicwaste shall be dumped into any of the Club’s lakes or streams, and all septic field lines shall bedirected away from lakes and cabins.No structure may be constructed closer than three hundred (300) feet from any other house,cabin, building or improvement.Gates to shareholder cabins and fences around shareholder cabins are allowed only at thediscretion of the Board of Directors and cannot be installed unless approved by the Board ofDirectors. (September 3, 2013)No structure may be constructed closer than thirty (30) feet from any lake.Any shareholder who owns any structure or improvement on Club property will be responsible formaintenance of any private roads or driveways leading to their cabins. No roads or drivewaysmay be barricaded, blocked, or closed without the approval of the Board of Directors.As of September 2013, no additional clearing of underbrush in and around a shareholder's cabinis allowed unless approved in advance by the Board of Directors. (September 3, 2013) JULY 11, 2000 – EQUIPMENT USE Only the caretaker or an authorized representative of the Association is permitted to use oroperate the Association’s tractor and other equipment. (A sign is posted at the equipment shedinforming every one of the rule). JUNE 12, 2007 – ATV REGULATION (For the purposes of this proposal an ATV is considered to be any three-wheeler, four wheeler,or side by side all-terrain vehicle with a bed such as but not limited to Polaris Ranger, YamahaRhino, etc.)1. Guests riding an ATV or motorcycle on Association property must be personally accompanied bya Club member or a member of the immediate family of the Club member. Please note that onlytwo (2) guests are allowed per member or member’s immediate family (immediate family isdefined as spouse or children of a member).2. Organized rides including six (6) or more ATV’s or motorcycles must be approved in advance bythe caretaker of the Club.3. Riding an ATV or motorcycle in the open woods is strictly prohibited. Open woods is defined asanywhere there is not an existing trail. Using an ATV in the act of hunting any game animal withdogs is permitted; however, the ATV should be kept on existing trails and roads. An ATV can beused in the open woods for an act of hunting or fishing designated below.An act of hunting or fishing may include but is not necessarily limited to:i. Using an ATV to retrieve a harvested or wounded animal.ii. Using an ATV to move equipment used for hunting (i.e., deer stands)iii. Using an ATV in proceeding to or returning from any activity involvingany form of fishingiv. Any activity given prior approval by the Club caretaker.4. Any motorized vehicle ridden on Association property must have a properly working standardmanufacturer muffler. The caretaker has the right to require that an ATV or motorcycle be parkedor removed from Association property if he deems it too loud.5. Destruction of Association property is prohibited. Mud riding and cutting doughnuts in roads areconsidered destruction of property; however, destruction of property is not necessarily limited onlyto these two (2) activities. (Mud riding is defined as intentionally riding through and wallowing outmud holes).6. The Association caretaker can require that any member, immediate family of an Associationmember, or guest discontinue riding his or her ATV or motorcycle if the caretaker believes thatthese rules have been violated or careless or reckless driving has or may take place. Thisdecision is in the caretaker’s sole discretion.7. Members or guest(s) who violate any of these policies will be subject to the following actions:
1st violation: Warning / Name recorded by caretaker2nd violation in a calendar year: $75 fine and/or thirty (30) day suspension of using anATV or motorcycle on Association property3rd violation in a calendar year: $150 fine and/or sixty (60) day suspension of using anATV or motorcycle on Association property4th violation in more than one year: Disciplinary action against member imposed atdiscretion of the Board of Directors, which may include penalties as established by theBylaws – Miscellaneous – Paragraph C, Section 9.
8. The operation of an ATV or motorcycle on Association property must be done with reasonablecare and caution and in compliance with all laws of the State of Mississippi.
9. No Club member, family member, guest or other person driving or operating an ATV ormotorcycle on Association property is an agent of the Association, and the Association is notliable or responsible for any acts or failures to act of anyone operating an ATV or a motorcycle in,on or near Association property.
JANUARY 8, 2008, and DECEMBER 2, 2008 – LOCKS ON CABIN OWNERS’ GATES All locked private gates on Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association, Inc. property shall belocked with padlocks used by the Association on Association gates. Cabin owners may obtainthese locks from the Association’s caretaker by paying the Association the reimbursement costfor the padlock. December 2, 2008, one free lock was given to private cabin owners with gates. MARCH 3, 2009 – PRIVATE CABIN OWNERS’ GATES In regard to private cabins owners’ gates:The location of all existing gates going to private cabins as of the day of the meeting (March 3,2009) would be grandfathered in as approved. The gates should be locked with Club-providedlocks. Any gate not locked at present could not be locked in the future except with a Club-provided lock. This motion did not include any action on fences in and around member’s cabins.Any member who did not have a gate would not be allowed to install a gate unless it was firstapproved by the Board of Directors. (Note: See March 3, 2009, minutes for locations of theprivate gates that were approved). OCTOBER 8, 2012 – CAMPERS AND RV’S 1. All mobile camping vehicles, recreational vehicles (RV’s), campers and trailers are required topark in the area adjacent to the archery range immediately to the east of the clubhouse. Thiswould not pertain to members who bring portable tents and camp by a lake or on a sand bar onthe Tombigbee River and camp for only a few days.2. No mobile camping vehicles are allowed to connect to any utilities at the skinning shed or otherbuildings at the Club.3. Mobile camping vehicles can be left at the Club from October 1 to January 31 without beingmoved. After this period, mobile camping vehicles may be left at the Club for no more thanfourteen (14) consecutive days.4. Members must report to the caretaker that their mobile camping vehicle will be left at the Clubduring the periods indicated above.

AUGUST 18 AND 23, 2011 – SHAREHOLDER HUNTING STAND POLICY
The term “Hunting Stand” includes but is not limited to shooting houses, ladder tree stands,home-built tree stands, hang on tree stands, and climbing tree stands (collectively referred toherein as “Hunting Stand(s)”).In order to provide for member safety and to properly identify all Hunting Stand owners at theClub, effective immediately, all Hunting Stands must be registered by the member. Identificationwill consist of the Hunting Stand being numbered and an agreement signed indicating that theHunting Stand belongs to a member and is not property of the Nettleton Fox Hunting and FishingAssociation, Inc.No more than three (3) Hunting Stands will be permitted per share of stock at any one time withthe Hunting Stand ownership being restricted to the shareholders. Guests will not be allowed toown or register Hunting Stands at the Club but can use a member’s Hunting Stand that has beenregistered. Registration of a Hunting Stand is in a member’s name only.Before registration, any shareholder who owns a Hunting Stand will be required to sign legaldocumentation stating ownership, as well as accepting responsibility and liability for the HuntingStand including its safety, structural integrity, or any other condition regarding safety of theHunting Stand. Additionally, shareholders will be required to indemnify and hold harmlessNettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association, Inc. and its Board of Directors and officers fromany and all liability related to Hunting Stands on Club property.After October 1, 2011, any Hunting Stands that have not been registered and numbered with therequired agreement signed by the member will be scheduled for removal or torn down.The following penalties apply in the event of violations.1st violation Stand(s) taken down2nd violation Stand(s) taken down and a $50.00 fine3rd violation Stand(s) taken down and a $200.00 fine4th violation Stand(s) taken down and member prohibited from deer hunting the remainder ofthe season.Any hunter violating the hunting stand rules must appear at the next Board of Director’s meetingto pay their fine and explain their actions. As stated in the Bylaws, under Miscellaneous – Section6, shareholders are responsible for the actions of their guest(s).As with cabin ownership at the Club, cabin location does not preclude other members to fish infront of a member’s cabin. Hunting Stands will not limit any member from hunting around aHunting Stand.Identification tags and registration forms are available at the Club. The Club caretaker will be gladto assist you in completion of the registration form and tag identification. TREE STANDS AND DEER HUNTING The Association leases from various companies and individuals each year land for huntingpurposes. The signed leases have clauses in them prohibiting members and their guest(s) from“erecting permanent structures on the land or permanent deer stands nailed to any trees.” TheBoard of Directors must have the cooperation of its members to make sure this rule is notviolated. Driving nails into a tree can cause serious damage to the tree and result in injury to atree cutter in the future. Violation of this rule is cause for cancellation of lease. FEBRUARY 1998 – TURKEY HUNTING
Turkey hunting at the Club will be limited to shareholders and members of the immediateshareholders family. Immediate family is defined as spouse and children of the namedshareholder. APRIL 4, 2019 – FISHING LIMIT ON LAKE GREEN (amended October 6, 2020)Any member will be allowed a limit of five (5) catfish per day (per share/1 person) or 10 catfishper group, including guests and family, caught from Lake Green. SEPTEMBER 1988 – TREE CUTTING There will be no cutting of trees for firewood on the Club's property unless a tree has beenapproved for cutting by the Club's caretaker. Anyone cutting a tree without permission will befined $150.00 per tree. JUNE 7, 2011 – PIER CONSTRUCTION (amended November 10, 2020)A cabin owner who owns a cabin located on Lake Green, Thomas or Whitesides must securepermission from the Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association Board of Directors beforeerecting any structure commonly known as a “pier.” Piers for cabin owners may be constructedonly on Lake Green, Thomas, and Whitesides. Any “pier” constructed cannot exceed thirty (30)feet from the water’s edge and contain more than a total area of 320 square feet whenconstructed. If any “piers” or boathouses constructed exceed the limit for the total area whenconstructed, the cabin owner shall pay a fine to the Association of $5 per square foot in excess of320 square feet (not to exceed $1,000), or the Board may require the construction to bedestroyed. Any “piers” or boathouses constructed before the approval date of this policy, June 7,2011, will be considered ”grandfathered in” and may be repaired without permission of the Boardof Directors as long as no additional square footage area is added to the pier. In addition, anypier approved by the Board of Directors of the Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association andconstructed after the date of June 7, 2011, may be repaired without permission of the Board ofDirectors, as long as no additional square footage area is added to the pier. MAY 2010 – JUG FISHING Jug fishing will be allowed in the Club's lakes with the following stipulations:1. All jugs must be labeled with a shareholder's name and must be in the care or underthe control of the shareholder whose name is on the jug.2. There is a limit of five (5) jugs per shareholder with one hook per jug.3. Jugs should not be left unattended for over twenty four (24) hours in the Club's lakes.4. There is a limit of five (5) catfish per day per member.5. In the event a shareholder brings a guest or family member, no more than ten (10) catfish can betaken in one day by the group.6. Shareholders are limited to two (2) guests. OCTOBER 1995 – HORSEBACK RIDING (EQUINE ACTIVITY) An organized horseback ride (equine activity) sponsored by or given by a shareholder for his/herriding club, family and /or guests of more than ten (10) horses would have to be approved by theBoard of Directors forty-five (45) days in advance of the ride. The request would have to besubmitted in writing from the shareholder, and the shareholder or a member of the shareholder'shousehold would have to be present with the riders at all times. JULY 1992 – DUNE BUGGIES Dune buggies will not be permitted on Club property. JULY 1998, AUGUST 1998, MAY 1999 – PAVILION RESERVATION Rules for the use and reservation of the pavilion are as follows:1. The pavilion may be reserved only by a shareholder and not in the name of or by a shareholder’sguest.2. A refundable deposit of $1.00 per guest will be required to reserve the pavilion. The pavilion willnot be considered reserved until the proper deposit is in the hands of the caretaker. There will bea maximum of a $75.00 deposit per reservation.3. The deposit will be returned to the shareholder if the pavilion, including picnic tables and the floor,is cleaned, the grounds around the pavilion cleaned, and the garbage hauled off. Refunds ofdeposits will be made at the first Board of Director's meeting after the pavilion has been used.4. If the pavilion and the grounds around the pavilion are not cleaned and the Club's caretaker hasto clean up after the party, the Board of Directors will use its discretion in retaining all or a part ofthe deposit for the Club.5. Any member may use the pavilion for small gatherings without reserving it subject to anothershareholder having the pavilion reserved who would have priority. Small gatherings are subject tothe same rules regarding clean up.6. As stated in the Bylaws, any damage to the building, furnishings or property of the Associationwill be the responsibility of the shareholder.7. The named shareholder, spouse or children of the shareholder must be present while the pavilionis being used. JULY 2000 – USE OF ASSOCIATION’S EQUIPMENT Only the caretaker or an authorized representative of the Association is permitted to use oroperate the Association’s tractor and other equipment. SEPTEMBER 1998 – SHOOTING RANGE Because of the danger of accidents, the Board of Directorsadopted a number of safety rules which must be followed at all times when using the shooting range.1. All members must check in with the Association's caretaker before using the range.2. No one under the age of sixteen (16) may use the range unless accompanied by an adultmember.3. Always keep your gun pointed down range whether it is loaded or not.4. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.5. Always keep your gun unloaded until ready to fire.6. Always observe the area of fire and never shoot if there is any chance someone might be in yourrange of fire.7. Alcohol or drugs are strictly forbidden before or during any shooting on this range.8. Shooting will be permitted only during the daily hours of operation beginning thirty (30) minutesafter sunrise and ending thirty (30) minutes before sunset.9. As stated in the Bylaws, members are responsible to the Association at all times for the actions oftheir guest(s) and assume liability to the Association for any damages, injuries, actions or causesof action arising out of or resulting from the use of the Association's facilities. The Association'scaretaker is authorized and empowered to revoke the permission of any non-member to use theAssociation's facilities. SHOOTING RANGE – (ORIGINALLY ADOPTED JULY 28, 2015 – updated annually) The shooting range will be closed from 3:00 p.m. each afternoon until 9:00 a.m. the next morningbeginning October 1, 2022, and ending January 31, 2023. MAY 1999 – FISHING REGULATIONS 1. Guest(s), while fishing, must be accompanied by the named stockholder, spouse, or children ofthe stockholder.2. The named stockholder, spouse, or children of the stockholder would have the privilege to be onthe Association’s property anytime by themselves. JULY 28, 2015 – RENTING THE CLUBHOUSE – Effective November 1, 2015 1. Only members and members of the immediate family are allowed to rent the clubhouse and themember, or the immediate family, must be on Club premises during the rental;2. Clubhouse reservations must be cancelled within seven (7) days of the rental, or the member willbe responsible for the rental; and3. Members must pay for the nights reserved and not the nights actually used. For example, if theclubhouse is reserved for two (2) nights and the member only shows up for one (1) night, themember is responsible for paying for both nights.
DECEMBER 2005 – PARTIES AND GUEST(S) A shareholder is allowed to rent the clubhouse or have parties at the club in the pavilion oroutside the pavilion with multiple guests present. But the rules of the Association allow theshareholder member to have only two guests to hunt or to fish at any one time with theshareholder or immediate family member present.Example – A member rents the clubhouse or uses the pavilion for a church party, a child’s sportsteam, or company party. Even though there may be ten, twenty, or thirty guest present, only twoguests are allowed to hunt, fish, or ride all-terrain vehicles (ATV’s) at a time and the member orimmediate family member must be on Association property with the guest. FEBRUARY 7, 1984 – CABIN OWNERSHIP REQUIREMENTS(amended February 3, 2009; amended September 3, 2013) These rules were adopted in some cases by the Board of Directors (not the shareholders) prior tothe shareholders approving an amendment to the Bylaws prohibiting further cabin construction atthe Club.Shareholders should notify the Board of Directors in writing before their cabin is sold as to thenew owner's name and the date of the sale. (September 3, 2013)All structures constructed by shareholders on Club property shall be of wood, masonry, Masonite,aluminum/vinyl siding, concrete blocks or other equivalent materials as approved by the Board ofDirectors.Mobile homes and trailers will not be allowed on the Club’s property.All structures must have septic tanks that have been approved by the State Board of Health.Plumbing should be constructed so as to provide adequate discharge of septic waste. No septicwaste shall be dumped into any of the Club’s lakes or streams, and all septic field lines shall bedirected away from lakes and cabins.No structure may be constructed closer than three hundred (300) feet from any other house,cabin, building or improvement.Gates to shareholder cabins and fences around shareholder cabins are allowed only at thediscretion of the Board of Directors and cannot be installed unless approved by the Board ofDirectors. (September 3, 2013)No structure may be constructed closer than thirty (30) feet from any lake.Any shareholder who owns any structure or improvement on Club property will be responsible formaintenance of any private roads or driveways leading to their cabins. No roads or drivewaysmay be barricaded, blocked, or closed without the approval of the Board of Directors.As of September 2013, no additional clearing of underbrush in and around a shareholder's cabinis allowed unless approved in advance by the Board of Directors. (September 3, 2013) JULY 11, 2000 – EQUIPMENT USE Only the caretaker or an authorized representative of the Association is permitted to use oroperate the Association’s tractor and other equipment. (A sign is posted at the equipment shedinforming every one of the rule). JUNE 12, 2007 – ATV REGULATION (For the purposes of this proposal an ATV is considered to be any three-wheeler, four wheeler,or side by side all-terrain vehicle with a bed such as but not limited to Polaris Ranger, YamahaRhino, etc.)1. Guests riding an ATV or motorcycle on Association property must be personally accompanied bya Club member or a member of the immediate family of the Club member. Please note that onlytwo (2) guests are allowed per member or member’s immediate family (immediate family isdefined as spouse or children of a member).2. Organized rides including six (6) or more ATV’s or motorcycles must be approved in advance bythe caretaker of the Club.3. Riding an ATV or motorcycle in the open woods is strictly prohibited. Open woods is defined asanywhere there is not an existing trail. Using an ATV in the act of hunting any game animal withdogs is permitted; however, the ATV should be kept on existing trails and roads. An ATV can beused in the open woods for an act of hunting or fishing designated below.An act of hunting or fishing may include but is not necessarily limited to:i. Using an ATV to retrieve a harvested or wounded animal.ii. Using an ATV to move equipment used for hunting (i.e., deer stands)iii. Using an ATV in proceeding to or returning from any activity involvingany form of fishingiv. Any activity given prior approval by the Club caretaker.4. Any motorized vehicle ridden on Association property must have a properly working standardmanufacturer muffler. The caretaker has the right to require that an ATV or motorcycle be parkedor removed from Association property if he deems it too loud.5. Destruction of Association property is prohibited. Mud riding and cutting doughnuts in roads areconsidered destruction of property; however, destruction of property is not necessarily limited onlyto these two (2) activities. (Mud riding is defined as intentionally riding through and wallowing outmud holes).6. The Association caretaker can require that any member, immediate family of an Associationmember, or guest discontinue riding his or her ATV or motorcycle if the caretaker believes thatthese rules have been violated or careless or reckless driving has or may take place. Thisdecision is in the caretaker’s sole discretion.7. Members or guest(s) who violate any of these policies will be subject to the following actions:
1st violation: Warning / Name recorded by caretaker2nd violation in a calendar year: $75 fine and/or thirty (30) day suspension of using anATV or motorcycle on Association property3rd violation in a calendar year: $150 fine and/or sixty (60) day suspension of using anATV or motorcycle on Association property4th violation in more than one year: Disciplinary action against member imposed atdiscretion of the Board of Directors, which may include penalties as established by theBylaws – Miscellaneous – Paragraph C, Section 9.
8. The operation of an ATV or motorcycle on Association property must be done with reasonablecare and caution and in compliance with all laws of the State of Mississippi.
9. No Club member, family member, guest or other person driving or operating an ATV ormotorcycle on Association property is an agent of the Association, and the Association is notliable or responsible for any acts or failures to act of anyone operating an ATV or a motorcycle in,on or near Association property.
JANUARY 8, 2008, and DECEMBER 2, 2008 – LOCKS ON CABIN OWNERS’ GATES All locked private gates on Nettleton Fox Hunting and Fishing Association, Inc. property shall belocked with padlocks used by the Association on Association gates. Cabin owners may obtainthese locks from the Association’s caretaker by paying the Association the reimbursement costfor the padlock. December 2, 2008, one free lock was given to private cabin owners with gates. MARCH 3, 2009 – PRIVATE CABIN OWNERS’ GATES In regard to private cabins owners’ gates:The location of all existing gates going to private cabins as of the day of the meeting (March 3,2009) would be grandfathered in as approved. The gates should be locked with Club-providedlocks. Any gate not locked at present could not be locked in the future except with a Club-provided lock. This motion did not include any action on fences in and around member’s cabins.Any member who did not have a gate would not be allowed to install a gate unless it was firstapproved by the Board of Directors. (Note: See March 3, 2009, minutes for locations of theprivate gates that were approved). OCTOBER 8, 2012 – CAMPERS AND RV’S 1. All mobile camping vehicles, recreational vehicles (RV’s), campers and trailers are required topark in the area adjacent to the archery range immediately to the east of the clubhouse. Thiswould not pertain to members who bring portable tents and camp by a lake or on a sand bar onthe Tombigbee River and camp for only a few days.2. No mobile camping vehicles are allowed to connect to any utilities at the skinning shed or otherbuildings at the Club.3. Mobile camping vehicles can be left at the Club from October 1 to January 31 without beingmoved. After this period, mobile camping vehicles may be left at the Club for no more thanfourteen (14) consecutive days.4. Members must report to the caretaker that their mobile camping vehicle will be left at the Clubduring the periods indicated above.
